Jacqueline’s Thoughts On The Art1095 Project
David’s Old Masters’ series never ceases to amaze and inspire me. The timelessness of his scenes is truly incredible when you think about how he is creating scenes from centuries back that still has a foothold in today’s society. His use of light and shadow, and the depth and skill of every detail, just takes my breath away.
All of his images are so beautifully tactile, painterly and stir up fond memories of my time spent lingering in front of masterpieces hanging on museum walls all over the world.
David is truly a Master of Photography.
Jacqueline’s Thoughts On David
When I first met David, it was after I began working at Rangefinder and attended my first WPPI show, He was gracious and warm, and extremely personable. He is someone that you meet and feel like you’ve known forever. He is also an incredible mentor and friend to other photographers, something I’ve witnessed firsthand at WPPI and beyond.
David’s Thoughts On Jacqueline
Jacqueline is on the front lines of our industry and is known for having her finger on the pulse of the latest industry developments. I look forward to receiving Rangefinder magazine each month, and it’s well-curated and valuable content. I consider the role she plays for all of us to be like a lighthouse guiding and escorting us along the way.
I’ve enjoyed judging the print competition with her at WPPI and listening to her unique perspectives having seen so many examples of what is only great vs. excellent photography.
On a personal level, she has a deep love for her family, and I admire that quality about her. Just like I appreciate what she does for our industry!
